UK-listed online gaming operator bwin.party digital entertainment plc has ended its long running feud with the Belgian authorities, with both sides agreeing to drop all pending legal disputes ahead of the company’s licensed re-entry into the market.
The resolution of the Belgian dispute comes four weeks after bwin.party co-CEO Norbert Teufelberger was questioned by Belgian authorities over claims that the company’s activities were in breach of the country’s gambling legislation.
