Figures show match-fixing bettors avoiding regulated sites

Europe’s leading sports betting operators have released integrity statistics for 2011 which show a similarly small number of corruption alerts as the previous year.

The information released by the licensed private industry’s betting integrity body, the European Sports Security Association (ESSA), shows 69 alerts with 8 suspicious cases being referred to the relevant regulatory authorities.
