Study: Over 4 million Germans have gambling problems

The findings of the first major study into problem gambling in Germany since introduction of the State Treaty on Gaming show that over 4 million Germans experience problems with gambling, with less than 25 per cent of problem gamblers receiving adequate support.

The Pathological Gaming and Epidomology Project (PAGE) was commissioned and financed by the federal states under the State Treaty on Gaming and was carried out by the universities of Greifswald and Lübeck.
