Following protracted discussions with online gaming operator 888 Holdings plc regarding a possible merger or acquisition, UK bookmaker Ladbrokes confirmed Friday that discussions between the two parties have now been terminated.
As a result of press speculation last December, Ladbrokes announced that it was eyeing up another approach for 888 following a breakdown of similar talks five years ago, with the company stating that it was in “very early preliminary discussions with 888”.
