The ruling coalition government of the North German state of Schleswig-Holstein has recommended that the state parliament approve the adoption of the State Treaty on Gaming, despite European Commission doubts about the legality of the move.
The government made the recommendation to parliament in a joint session of the committees of the interior, justice and finance ministries on January 9th, with the parliament scheduled to vote on the move on January 23rd.
