The Philippines House of Representatives is considering legislation to regulate internet gambling and prevent participation by minors.
The legislation was revealed Monday by Rep. Samuel D. Pagdilao, who introduced the bill last month.
In the explanatory note to the legislation, Pagdilao states that “the development of the internet has provided millions of people around the world, including our own, the option to gamble online”.
