US player verification solutions provider Central Account Management System (CAMS) has partnered with real-time age and identity verification service provider IDology.

The IDology solution will aid CAMS in monitoring and complying with regulations, as well as facilitating deposits and withdrawals. The partnership is designed to allow CAMS to improve the efficiency with which it collects and manages player information.

CAMS will use IDology’s solution to rapidly verify player identity, helping to retain customers and move them quickly through acquisition funnels.

The companies are already working together in the New Jersey and Nevada online gaming markets, as well as with state lotteries across the US.

CAMS chief executive Matthew Katz said that with identity theft becoming increasingly prevalent, simply verifying a customer’s age is not enough, and more stringent ID checks are needed.

“IDology's solution enables us to better prevent identity fraud and expand our commitment to reducing risk while also escalating customer acquisition,” Katz explained.

The IDology solution is based on a technology platform that allows its customers to control the proofing process, rather than outsourcing it to a third party.

IDology CEO John Dancu said he was extremely excited to have partnered with CAMS.
