Sportsbook software supplier Kambi has established a partnership with Georgian land-based casino operator Casino Iveria to launch an online sports betting site.

Kambi will supply a multi-channel, fully-managed sportsbook solution to power Iveriabet, with the product to be launched ahead of this summer’s FIFA World Cup.

The agreement follows Kambi's recent spin off from parent Unibet in a transaction valuing the business at around £58m, and ahead of its listing on the NASDAQ OMX First North exchange next month.

“This agreement is strategically important as it provides an entry point into a newly regulated geographic market,” Kambi chief executive Kristian Nylén explained. “This further demonstrates Kambi’s ambition and focus on international markets.”

Iveriabet board member Sebastian Molina added that his company aimed to offer its customers a market-leading online and mobile gaming experience through Kambi.

“Partnering with Kambi, the market leading B2B sportsbook provider, enables us to offer a first-class product and bring a new quality in sports betting to our players,” he said. “We very much look forward to building up this partnership over the years, starting with the 2014 FIFA World Cup.”

Casino Iveria is located in the Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi, with a second venue in the city of Batumi.
