Live dealer software supplier Evolution Gaming has gone live with its new live dealer studio in Belgium, with six locally licensed operators using the supplier’s offering.

Following a four-month implementation, the studio has been launched in partnership with the Circus Group-owned Casino de Spa, streaming live dealer Roulette and Blackjack games, as well as Auto Slingshot Roulette between 6pm and 2am, seven days a week.

“We’re naturally very excited to open our fifth studio in Europe – and we’re enormously proud to have been able to integrate the studio within such a famous and historic venue,” said Jens von Bahr, CEO at Evolution Gaming. “Belgian players now have access to fully compliant live casino games on their desktop, tablet and smartphone, with all of the live tables served by French and Flemish native speaking dealers.

“It’s a world-class service with a distinctive local flavour.”

Six locally licensed operators have gone live with the service, including bwin, Unibet, 777, Circus, Starcasino and Napoleon Games.

Evolution has also signed a deal with service provider Gaming1, which works with a number of licensed Belgian operators including Circus.be, who will stream Auto Slingshot Roulette from the same facility.

Outside of the Spa studio’s operating hours, the Belgium live casino service will be supported by live table games streamed from Evolution’s central studios in Latvia and Malta.

“By working with the world leader in live casino we have created a fantastic facility here,” said Emmanuel Mewissen, CEO of Circus Group, owner of Casino de Spa. “That it is now the online live casino operational base for virtually all of Belgium’s A-Licence operators is proof of the sheer quality of the deployment.”

Casino de Spa opened in 1763 and is thought to be one of the world’s oldest casinos.
