Spread betting specialist Sporting Index has launched live dealer products and online casino games for its players, marking the first time in its 24-year history that it has offered non-spread betting based games.

The company decided to launch the new products to satisfy “significant” customer demand, having previously only offered spread betting products since its launch.

The games have gone live for desktop users following a successful beta testing and development period, with mobile and tablet roll-outs to follow.

The live dealer products will be supplied by Evolution Gaming and NetEnt, while the fixed-odds casino features content from NetEnt, IGT and Microgaming. The range of content available will be expanded further in the coming months.

In November last year GIQ Award winner EveryMatrix revealed that it was supplying Sporting Index with its Casino Engine solution, through which clients can integrate third party content as and when required.

Desktop players can access the casino offering via integrated tabs on the Sporting Index homepage, with the operator hoping the new product vertical will complement its existing spread-betting games.

“We’re excited to bring the best of casino and live dealer products to sit alongside our best-in-class spread betting offering,” Sporting Index marketing director Paul Turner commented.

“The launch of our new casino products represents an exciting step forward for the business,” he explained. “Sporting Index is committed to giving our customers the best possible product and we are proud to be extending our range.”
