German-facing gaming operator Tipbet has expanded its offering with the addition of Sportrader’s suite of eSports products.

Provided by Sportradar subsidiary Betradar, the eSports offering will be available on Tipbet’s online platform, as well as across the operator’s retail betting network in Germany.

Betting will initially be offered on popular eSports games such as League of Legends, Starcraft II, Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), and Defense of the Ancients 2 (DotA2).

Live betting on important matches from CS:GO will be available from the start, with DotA2 to be added shortly after.

“With our new eSports offer we are using and furthering the popularity of the sports at the same time,” said Tipbet managing director Bahadir Malkoc. “We believe in the future of eSports and want our product to be a part of this successful story.”

In addition to eSports betting, Tipbet will also provide its customers with a live stream of important matches through the existing collaboration between Sportradar and eSports league and tournament organiser ESL.

Sportradar’s director of sales Lorenzo Caci said: “We have worked hard in-house to ensure that our full suite of products and services are fully tailored to the individual eSports.

“We want our clients to be able to attract seasoned eSports bettors, we want them to pique the interest of non eSports bettors to try their hand at this new sport. But most of all we want them to be confident that they have a partner who will generate value for them today and tomorrow.”
