iGaming platform provider and content supplier EveryMatrix has secured investment from a number of investors including former bwin.party chief executive Norbert Teufelberger, who assumes the role of chairman.

The supplier has raised €4.3m through the fundraising, its first external round, taking in money from Norwegian investment firm Strawberry Capital and a number of private individuals.

Three of the private investors have also joined the board of EveryMatrix, with Teufelberger the highest-profile appointment.

He is joined on the board by Anders Böös, former chair of enterprise software developer IFS, and Snow Software co-founder Jan Gottlander.

EveryMatrix co-founder and chief executive Ebbe Groes said that with more diverse skills and "broader ownership" at board level, the company is confident of executing its growth strategy in the coming years.

"This investment provides our company with significant resources for improving our industry-leading solutions and deliver the necessary services to present and future clients," co-founder Stian Hornsletten added. "The extended board will have a great mix of talent which I'm positive will help us professionalise the company further, accelerate our product innovation cycles and expand our global footprint."

In his new role as chairman, Teufelberger will assist with the development of business strategy based on "ambitious" commercial goals. He will work with EveryMatrix's founders to identify and implement potential strategic partnerships and opportunities, the company said.

"I'm truly excited to invest and chair EveryMatrix," Teufelberger said. "Being part the bwin's story since its inception was a wonderful experience for me and I look forward to assist the founders and team of EveryMatrix in developing a blue chip B2B technology provider for the fast expanding global iGaming market. After an extensive due diligence period, I was particularly impressed with the product vision and innovation capabilities and drive of the EveryMatrix team."
