Online poker giant PokerStars will next week launch a pilot of its new Stars Rewards program in Denmark, ahead of a wider roll out to other markets later in the summer.

Stars Rewards is an integrated rewards program that will offer a personalised gaming experience that rewards players for their play in poker, casino, and sports betting where available.

It provides personalised rewards tailored to the games they play. Users collect Chests, which are opened for the chance to win top prizes including $1,000 cash, 1m StarsCoin, or a PokerStars Championship package worth thousands of dollars, or for sports bettors, a big bet for an upcoming match.

Chests will offer a variety of rewards including StarsCoin, free sports bets, tournament tickets, casino instant bonuses, all personalised to reflect each player's gameplay.

"I'm happy to announce that this summer we will be launching Stars Rewards, our new rewards program," said Severin Rasset, director of poker innovations and operations at PokerStars.

"We will be launching Stars Rewards first in Denmark later this month, with Italy planned shortly thereafter, and most other markets planned for later this summer."
