Kentucky-based international horse racing distributor Sky Racing World is to expand its coverage of Saturday night Australian racing for North American fans.

Sky Racing, the exclusive North American distributor of thoroughbred horse racing from Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, will add an extra racetrack and increase its Saturday night offering to four Australian racing meets.

Tomorrow (Saturday July 15th) marks the first week of fourth track availability and comes in response to the growing popularity of Sky Racing’s Australian thoroughbred racing product in the North American market.

“It has been a very exciting and momentous time for both Sky Racing World and countless loyal Australian Racing fans that we work with,” said David Haslett, president and CEO of Sky Racing World. “Our newest offer is yet another example of our commitment to delivering a world-class product that is reflective of the sport in which we operate.”

Ahead of Australia’s high-stakes Spring meetings later this year, Sky Racing World said that it is exploring the potential of expanding to daily offerings to help celebrate the action.

The Spring meetings, which run from September through November, feature events such as the Cox Plate, Victoria Derby and the 2017 Emirates Melbourne Cup.

Earlier this year Sky Racing World agreed a partnership with Paddy Power Betfair-owned broadcaster and betting operator TVG to increase its coverage of Australian racing, and integrated new graphics for its simulcast content to all North American operator partners.
