Scientific Games Corporation is to supply Paragon Gaming's Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino with its full casino management system, as well as deploying its SG Universe online and mobile product suite for the operator.

Westgate Las Vegas features a 95,000 square foot casino floor with 670 slot machines and 17 tables, which will be upgraded using Scientific Games' ACSC slot operating system and TableView management solutions. SG's advanced Business Intelligence application will also be rolled out, enabling the casino to gather and analyse player and operations data.

A range of marketing enhancements, including the Elite Bonusing Suite, will allow Westgate to interact and reward players on gaming terminals, while the Servizio Mobile Service Solution will enable casino staff to perform customer service functions via smartphones.

"We went through a very comprehensive review of the various suppliers in the marketplace and determined that Scientific Games continues to be the best fit for our business," Westgate Resorts chief operating officer Mark Waltrip explained. "Not only was this decision based on our current Scientific Games systems' history of superior performance and reliability, but Scientific Games also offers incredible, overlapping opportunities for our other business segments at Westgate Resorts."

The entire Westgate Resort property portfolio will also benefit from the roll-out of the SG Universe product suite, which will support all its 28 venues. This product suite includes the Mobile Concierge app, which includes a range of marketing features, a social casino platform and the Core Systems Integration technology.

This will allow Westgate to increase engagement with patrons beyond the casino floor.

"We are honored to strengthen our partnership with Paragon Gaming, Westgate Las Vegas, and to have the opportunity to serve with Westgate Resorts on their forward-thinking vision," Scientific Games senior vice president and chief revenue officer Bob Parente said. "We look forward to continuing to provide innovative systems and solutions, and building upon the foundation that we have established with Westgate."

Shares in Scientific Games Corp. (Co. Data) (NASDAQ:SGMS) closed in New York Monday up 2.64 per cent at $36.90 per share.
