The US subsidiary of Austrian gaming giant Novomatic Group has signed a long-term partnership to roll out its electronic table game products at Connecticut's Foxwoods Resort Casino.
The initial installation will see Novomatic Americas launch 30 electronic gaming terminals in the tribal casino. These machines feature huge screens and personal player stations with charging ports, bag hooks and beverage holders. A further 24 units are to be rolled out in future.
Among the machines to be installed are the Novo Line Novo Unity II multiplayer terminals, offering a range of games including blackjack, roulette, Baccarat, Sic Bo and poker variants. Also launching are the dealer-operated Novo TouchBet tables for live roulette, Baccarat and blackjack.
"The entire team at Novomatic Americas is proud to be a part of this exciting entertainment concept. Novo Line Novo Unity II has proved to be a world-leading ETG platform in its class, providing a flexible, secure and robust system to create incredible player excitement," Novomatic Americas president and CEO Rick Meitzler said.
"Our ETG system is easily configurable and expands as player demand increases. Over the past several months our teams have worked together on new game concepts, design, development and the necessary approvals."
This deal builds on the companies' existing relationship, which saw Foxwoods launch a social gaming offering powered by Greentube Pro, the platform developed by BlueBat Games, a division of Novomatic's interactive arm Greentube.
"We are constantly looking for creative and interesting ways to entertain our players," Foxwoods senior vice president of table games Wayne Theiss commented.
"The Novomatic Americas team are great partners because they understand operations. They are operators and innovators. They listen and will deliver a mix of new products offering a range of entertaining, player-friendly electronic table gaming choices."
