Stockholm-listed operator Betsson has signed a two-year deal with sports betting provider BetConstruct to launch a brand in the regulated Spanish market.

The agreement includes integrating BetConstruct's sportsbook solution, including full access to pre-match and live betting coverage, offering a number of betting opportunities to customers.

Betsson had revealed in its Q3 results late last week that it was planning to launch a brand in Spain and had signed a two-year contract with third-party provider BetConstruct which is already compliant with Spanish licence requirements.

"We are happy to be partnering with BetConstruct for our new sportsbook venture in Spain," said Andrea Rossi, Betsson's managing director for Southern Europe & LATAM. "BetConstruct is already integrated with our existing technology provider in this market.

"We have confidence in the product and its functionality and with BetConstruct we will shorten our time to market and they will help us to deliver on our entry plans."
