Stockholm-listed Betsson Group has become the first operator to integrate Perform's new Opta 3D football visualisation product.

Opta 3D was first unveiled at the ICE show in London in February, offering players insight into more that 10,000 matches a year across 60 leading football competitions. The solution allows players to track all player action events including passes, shots, free-kicks, goals and tackles.

It is based on data that is already used by sports broadcasters, digital media outlets and clubs to evaluate and understand player performance.

The visualisation product has now been rolled out across all Betsson brands, including Betsafe in the UK, offering what Perform describes as "the perfect complement" to a player's live betting experience.

"As a football fan, following passing sequences, who's on the ball, where it is, and what they're doing with it, creates the closest visual experience to watching the real match," said Perform Content SVP of Betting John Harlow. "We're delighted to bring this experience to Betsson's customers, to enhance the way they follow their bets, and make their betting even more entertaining."

Nick Maurice, Director of Trading at Betsson Group, added: "Perform Content's new 3D football visualisation product is in a league of its own. Integrating this innovative new product into our sportsbook offering means we can not only continue to improve on our customers’ betting experience, but also means we can lead the field with this pioneering new technology."

Shares in Betsson Group AB (STO:BETS-B) were trading down 0.92 per cent at SEK64.80 per share in Stockholm Friday morning.
