The US state of Rhode Island has stepped up preparations for a legal sports betting offering by launching a process to select a provider to power a land-based sportsbook for two gaming facilities.
Run by the Rhode Island Lottery, the request for proposals (RFP) calls for submissions from companies that can offer sports betting products and services for the Twin River casino in Lincoln and a soon-to-open Twin River facility in Tiverton.
