A patent infringement lawsuit brought against SHFL entertainment, now owned by Scientific Games subsidiary Bally Technologies, has been dismissed with prejudice by the United States District Court of Nevada.
The long-running legal case dates back to August 2009, when electronic table games developer TableMax IP Holdings, Table Max Gaming and Vegas Amusement Inc filed the suit, alleging infringement of US patent numbers 5,688,174, 6,921,337, 7,201,661 and 7,575,512.
