Following a record performance from the company’s Win2day.at online gaming division last year, state-owned lottery and gaming operator Austrian Lotteries has said that it will look to expand its online operations by applying for an online gaming licence in Belgium through its land-based Grand Casino Brussels.

Turnover at Win2Day.at increased by 5 per cent last year to a record €1.13bn, despite a decline in the company’s online poker offering which generated a rake of €5.8m during the period.
