The recovery of Sweden’s Redbet Holding AB appears to be gathering pace with the company posting a 14.5 per cent increase in revenues for 2011 and a 217 per cent increase in the number of active players.

Redbet’s growth was driven by a number of acquisitions during 2011 (DoubleCardrooms, HeyPoker and i4Poker) which helped the company to strengthen its presence in key markets in Eastern Europe and Scandinavia, together with a TV advertising campaign in Sweden aimed at rebuilding the brand after several years of decline.
