Austrian gaming giant Novomatic has strengthened its position in the Dutch gaming market by acquiring one of the country’s top five gaming machine operators.
Novomatic said that the deal to acquire local company Loontjens would allow the family-run business to increase its focus on expanding its range of amusement centres, and potentially develop online gaming products ahead of the Dutch iGaming market opening in January 2015.
