Holland’s Council of Ministers has approved plans to regulate the country’s online gaming market, with legislation now moving to the House of Representatives for further approval despite renewed calls from industry association Speel Verantwoord for the tax rate to be halved.
Last week the council formally approved the plan laid out by the country’s State Secretary of Security and Justice Fred Teeven to reform the country’s 50 year-old gambling legislation.
