A class action suit filed by an Illinois resident seeking to close down International Game Technology’s (IGT) social casino app DoubleDown Casino has been dismissed.
The action filed by plaintiff Margo Phillips in April last year sought to close down IGT's mobile app, described in the suit as a “gambling device”, and refund all Illinois customers who lost more than $50 playing its games.
