Casino operator MGM Resorts International has reported an 11 per cent drop in first quarter revenue to $2.33bn, with growth in its Las Vegas operations unable to offset a weaker performance in Macau.

Revenue from the company’s wholly owned domestic resorts business, which includes the Bellagio and MGM Grand in Las Vegas among others, rose marginally by 0.5 per cent to $1.58bn.
