Swedish gaming operator Cherry has reported a 31 per cent increase in total revenue to SEK95.3m for the first quarter of 2015, following strong growth from its customer-facing online gaming operations and a higher contribution from its development subsidiary Yggdrasil Gaming.

Online gaming revenue climbed 49 per cent to SEK58.3m, representing 63 per cent of total revenue during the period, while Restaurant Casino revenue grew by 6 per cent to SEK35.2m. Yggdrasil contributed a further SEK2.3m in revenue during Q1, an increase of 156 per cent year-on-year.
