London-listed online gaming operator bwin.party has reported a drop in third quarter revenue versus the same period a year ago, with declines in every segment except online bingo.

Net gaming revenue for the third quarter fell 9 per cent year-on-year to €124.9m, reflecting the impact of the World Cup in Q3 2014 and the cost of newly introduced VAT payments in certain European markets. Other revenue also fell year-on-year, down 28 per cent to €8.5m, reflecting lower contributions from the sale of assets compared to the previous year period, resulting in a 10 per cent decline in total group revenue to €133.4m.
