Buenos Aires’ bid to regulate iGaming draws interest from other provinces

A number of Argentina's 23 provinces are likely to regulate online gambling if Buenos Aires province is successful in its current bid to regulate the activity.

Lawmakers in Buenos Aires province are debating the 2019 finance bill which includes a provision to regulate and tax online gambling.

The proposal would allow operators to secure a license to serve players within the province, subject to a gross revenue tax of 15 per cent.
