UK National Lottery operator Camelot has reported a 9 per cent decrease in total lottery sales to £6.93bn for the year ended March 31st, with the company’s board announcing a strategic review in order to put the business "on the best possible footing to get back into growth".

The in-depth review of the company's National Lottery strategy is being led by Nigel Railton, CEO of Camelot Global, who took over Camelot's UK operations following Andy Duncan’s decision to step down in April.
