Denmark’s regulated gambling market grew by 9 per cent year-on-year to DKK1.52bn in the first quarter of 2018, following growth in sportsbetting and casino and the inclusion of online bingo for the first time.

Gross gaming revenue (GGR) grew across the online casino and betting sectors, offsetting a decline in land-based gaming machines and casinos, according to the latest figures released by the Danish gambling regulator Spillemyndigheden.
