Canada’s Atlantic Lottery Corporation (ALC) has returned more than CAD$400m in profit to provinces for the fourth consecutive year, as growth in its iLottery business helped total lottery sales increase compared to the previous year.
ALC, which is publicly owned by the four Atlantic provinces, saw lottery sales fall short of budget by $10.5m, although sales increased by per cent to $1.17bn for the fiscal year ended March 31st.
