Kentucky Senator Julian Carroll has introduced a bill that would legalise sports betting in the state, subject to the successful repeal of the federal sports betting ban.
The bill seeks to introduce a new section to the Kentucky Revised Statutes requiring the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission to institute a sports betting system, as well as amending definitions of 'exempt sports contests', 'sports wagering' and 'sports wagering facilities'.
