Cherry subsidiary Yggdrasil Gaming has gone live in the UK, rolling out its full product suite after securing a licence from the UK Gambling Commission in December last year.

The launch means its proprietary iSENSE 2.0 platform and games portfolio are now available to UK players for the first time. Its games can be played through its six partners – LeoVegas, Mr Green, Unibet, Vera&John, ComeOn and Betsson – with others such as bet365 to follow.

Yggdrasil only secured the UK licence in December. Some of its most popular titles including Jokerizer, Vikings Go Wild and Nirvana are now live, as well as progressive jackpot game Joker Millions.

The slots are supported by the supplier’s BOOST suite of promotional tools, designed to increase customer engagement and retention.

“We’re thrilled to be live in the UK, which is now an extremely important market for Yggdrasil,” the supplier’s chief executive Fredrik Elmqvist said.

“We’ve had a very encouraging start given that we only received our licence at the end of last year, and are already live with some operators.

“The UK marketplace is the most competitive in Europe, but we have a track record of succeeding in every market we enter, and I am confident our industry-leading platform and games will allow us to repeat the trick there,” he explained.
