Gaming supplier Inspired has struck a deal to supply NOVOMATIC Italia, the Austrian gaming giant’s Italian subsidiary, with its portfolio of virtual sports games.
The deal will see NOVOMATIC Italia take delivery of Inspired’s full suite of certified games, including Rush Football 2, which debuted in Italy in March this year.
NOVOMATIC, through its AdmiralYES and Millenium brands, will offer up to 2,000 virtual events a day via its online and retail channels, with the content already live on the former.
Rumours persist that Inspired’s owner, private equity firm Vitruvian Partners, is set to follow its divestment of OpenBet (to NYX Gaming Group) by selling off Inspired to NOVOMATIC.
“Inspired are delighted to be working with NOVOMATIC Italia and we are proud to supply our market-leading virtual sports products to this valued customer, following the launch on AdmiralYES,” Inspired Italia president Vitaliano Casalone said.
“Together we can take advantage of the new regulations in Italy and supply more world-class content to customers for longer.
“Twenty per cent of all bets in Italy are now made on Inspired’s products, and we anticipate that this number can only increase as we extend the availability of our virtual sports through this new exciting collaboration,” he explained.
NOVOMATIC Italia chief operating officer Markus Buechele said that his company aimed to offer the best gaming products for land-based and online customers, and had therefore selected Inspired to deliver virtuals content.
“We will offer the Inspired virtual product not only for our successful online gaming portal Admiralyes.it, but also for our new retail initiatives with Millennium, where the Inspired virtual product will be showcased together with our NOVOMATIC gaming and betting content in a completely new shop concept," he said.
