A Norwegian resident has won €2.9m on Yggdrasil Gaming’s Joker Millions progressive jackpot slot game, while playing on mobile-first operator LeoVegas.com.

The 21-year-old from Oslo, named only as Chris, hit the jackpot earlier this week on July 11th, winning €2,881,257, the largest ever jackpot on the Joker Millions slot. He had placed a bet of just €1.25.

It is the third time the Joker Millions jackpot has paid out since it launched in March 2015, following previous wins of €720,000 last September and €460,000 in December.

“It is a huge thrill to see someone win such a staggering sum of money from a single spin on an Yggdrasil slot,” said Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO at Yggdrasil Gaming. “Joker Millions is our first progressive slot and it is beloved by both operators and players.

“With more operators continuing to join the Yggdrasil network, the jackpot will be building up again quickly.”

LeoVegas’ head of casino Karolina Pelc, added: “We are delighted that this jackpot was won by one of our customers who was playing LeoVegas on his mobile phone as a means to keep himself entertained.

“This truly shows what LeoVegas stands for – number one in mobile entertainment. Yggdrasil games are always popular with our players as they look forward to enjoying more great content while chasing the next big jackpot.”
