Virtual sports specialist Inspired has signed a long-term contract renewal for the supply of virtual sports content to UK-based 49's.

49's was the first company to deploy Inspired's virtual sports and has been providing virtual horse and greyhound races via satellite to around ten thousand UK licensed betting offices since 2001.

Steve Rogers, Inspired's chief commercial officer for digital games, commented: "I’m delighted to announce this deal, which sees Inspired and 49's continuing their long-standing business relationship.

"To now be able to license these well-established premium Virtual races to our clients for their worldwide digital channels is a hugely exciting opportunity given the growth we have seen in our digital revenues.

"Since our very first Virtual Sports deployment in 2001, 49's has been delivering our best-in-class content to their customers, and I’m thrilled that this will continue to be the case."

49's chief executive David Purvis added: "We are pleased to have extended and broadened our agreement with Inspired, and look forward to continuing our successful working relationship.

"Furthermore, this new deal will see 49's virtual horse racing and greyhound brands being enhanced and distributed through digital channels to a worldwide audience."
