This week's games round-up see the release of a new Willy Wonka-branded slot from Scientific Games, as well as new titles from Yggdrasil, Realistic Games and iSoftBet.

Scientific Games
Atlantic City’s Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa has become the first US land-based venue to roll out Scientific Games’ new wide-area progressive (WAP) slot featuring the iconic literary character Willy Wonka.

Willy Wonka: World of Wonka is the first WAP slot to be launched through Scientific Games’ Gamescape platform, and will be rolled out to other casinos following the Borgata release.

The game is based on the 1971 hit musical film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, based on the 1964 novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl.

It takes players through the chocolate factory and offers a range of bonus features including Cloning, Oopma Loompa, Bonus Respin, Wonka Winko, Free Spins, World of Wonka Wheel, Chocolate River and Golden Ticket.

"We are honored and excited to be able to offer the engaging World of Wonka slot game to our guests here at Borgata," Borgata vice president of slot operations Ted Herzchel said. "It is an eye-catching display that matches Borgata's commitment to gaming and entertainment here at our resort. World of Wonka offers our players a uniquely magical experience that they want to share with others."

Scientific Games' group chief executive of gaming Derik Mooberry added: "With its mix of technology and video graphics, the game transports players back to the first time they saw Charlie Bucket run down the street waving his Golden Ticket. We hope to give Borgata guests that same thrill on this engaging journey with Willy Wonka and friends."

Yggdrasil Gaming
Cherry's Yggdrasil gaming has released a new progressive jackpot slot, Empire Fortune, which shares a jackpot pool with the supplier's other popular title Joker Millions.

Empire Fortune aims to engage players with an entertaining base game which includes a unique feature allowing players to hold two free spins or bonus symbols for a chance of hitting a third symbol on the next spin.

"Progressive jackpots are always popular, but for too long developers have focused on the big prize and neglected the core gameplay," Jonas Strandman, product owner for games at Yggdrasil, explained.

"Following on from the success of Joker Millions, Empire Fortune is a new breed of progressive jackpot slot that provides a great experience to all users – not just the lucky individual who lands the jackpot."

iSoftBet
Alderney-licensed casino games provider iSoftBet has added Slammin' 7s, a new futuristic slot, to its portfolio.

Slammin' 7s offers a jackpot of 25,000 coins in normal play or 50,000 coins during respins.

"There is a constant requirement for innovation within the traditional slot vertical and Slammin' 7s does just that,” iSoftBet managing director Nir Elbaz said of the new game.

"Filled with vivid colours, we have managed to give this game a distinctive look that is modern and yet simplistic enough to direct players' attention to the right place - the gameplay," he said. "We believe this game will be a big hit amongst players and I’m proud to add this to our increasingly broad portfolio."

Realistic Games
Gibraltar-licensed casino games supplier Realistic Games has released its latest slot title, Crystal Clear.

Developed for mobile, tablet and desktop devices, the five-reel 10 win line game offers a maximum prize of 1,000 x total stake. Each game starts with eight wild symbols on each reel. For every win, all non-wild symbols change to wild symbols. A free re-spin is then awarded and wild symbols are added and free re-spins awarded until the jackpot is won or no win is obtained.

"We expect Crystal Clear to be particularly popular with players and therefore a commercial success for all of our operating partners," explained Realistic Games CEO Andy Harris. "The game model has a very low volatility, which helps to further expand the diversity of our game portfolio.

"Players will experience the main feature very frequently which really helps to build excitement and engagement with the game."
