This week’s round-up includes new releases from Pragmatic Play and Quickspin, launches for Realistic Games and IWG, alongside platform integrations for Playson, GameArt and Betsoft Gaming.

Pragmatic Play

Casino games developer Pragmatic Play has released its latest slot Jurassic Giants, which has initially gone live with operator LeoVegas.

Set for a full roll-out to other operators later this month, the game sees prehistoric beasts battle it out in a 4x6 reel slot with 4,096 ways mechanic that pay both ways. It is based on a bloody battle between T-Rex and the mighty Mammoth. Gameplay includes lava-spewing volcano wilds, diamond symbols that serve as scatters, and ascending numbers of free spins – up to 250 – when 10 or more scatters appear.

The T-Rex and Mammoth leap from the reels and clash, with stacks of these giants translating into big wins. The two beasts also appear during free spins, with animal roars announcing multipliers of up to 5 times. The primordial jungle is further brought to life with symbols such as a Sabre-Toothed Tiger and spear-wielding cavewoman.

Pragmatic Play’s head of business development Yossi Barzely said that the game represented a significant step forward for the company on several levels.

“It’s one of only a few slots to pay both ways, heightening its appeal to players,” he said. “In addition to the brand-new theme, the game is also a new frontier for the company in terms of mathematics, graphics and sound. It is our first slot with 4x6 slot, and our first to be built with 4,096 ways to win.”

Quickspin

Playtech-owned Swedish slots specialist Quickspin has re-launched its popular Goldilocks and the Wild Bears game with improved graphics and its innovative Achievements Engine.

The game, originally released in 2014, now features multiplier wilds and pay out-intense free spins, triggered when the greedy golden girl taunts the bears and sends them wild.

The game benefits from improved HTML5 technology that provides a more immersive user experience and the ability to play in portrait mode for the first time.

The revamped slot also features Quickspin’s innovative Achievements Engine, making use of six unique game events that take place in all the supplier’s slots, rewarding players with Quickspin tokens when free spins or other features are triggered.

“Goldilocks and the Wild Bears was hugely popular when it was first released and, thanks to developments in HTML5 technology, it was an obvious step for us to give her and the game an enhanced look,” said Quickspin CEO Daniel Lindberg.

“With improved graphics and the addition of our innovative Achievements Engine, we’re confident players will enjoy this latest version even more than the original.”

IWG

Online instant win games specialist IWG has developed two instant win titles based on British reality TV show Love Island.

Love Island 7x7 and Love Island Bonus draw inspiration from the popular ITV2 show, which sees a group of singles spending the long hot summer in a luxury villa in a bid to find romance.

Both games see the player become matchmaker, giving them the chance to get their hands on a scorching win if they match up to seven symbols in a row. In Love Island Bonus, players try to find their match and flirt their way to the red-hot bonuses and wins on offer.

The titles are available to play at the newly launched Gaming Realms-powered LoveIslandgames.com site, alongside IWG’s full portfolio of games.

“To celebrate the summer’s hottest reality TV show, we’ve coupled up with Gaming Realms to provide players with our most romantic instant win gaming experience yet,” said Simon Bucknall, chief operating officer at IWG. “With millions of viewers tuning in each night to find out the latest gossip from the island, we’re confident players will want to put in the hard graft in order to win big.”

Gaming Realms’ commercial director Simon Collins added: “Love Island has been one of TV’s biggest attractions this summer, and we’re thrilled to be offering IWG’s latest releases on our newly-launched site.
