This week sees a host of new slots released by some of the industry’s leading suppliers, including Yggdrasil Gaming, Pragmatic Play, Betsoft, and Play’n GO, as well as integrations for the likes of Foxium, Big Time Gaming and EvenBet.
Malta-based slot developer Pragmatic Play has launched the latest addition to its game portfolio, Diamond Strike.
The 3x5, 15-line game evokes the spin-to-win experience of classic slot titles, loading the reels with abstract symbols including fruit, bells and lucky sevens, alongside a dedicated free spins icon.
The game’s titular diamonds are both stacked and wild, with lightning striking and scattering extra diamonds during the free spins round to unlock the biggest rewards. Fixed jackpots hover above the reels, with three golden sevens triggering the Jackpot Bonus mini-game and a chance to win up to 1,000 times the original bet.
“Diamond Strike is Pragmatic Play’s exciting take on classic slot gameplay, and our latest release offers far more for players than simple nostalgia,” said Catalin Bratosin, head of games production at Pragmatic Play. “With expertly-modelled mechanics and design, Diamond Strike delivers that varied and engaging gameplay experience that has made our content popular with players in regulated markets all over the world.”
Game development studio Yggdrasil Gaming is getting players in the Halloween mood with a new Day of the Dead-themed game, Pumpkin Smash.
The new slot challenges players to hit sugar skull paylines and bonus game pumpkins for prizes. Getting at least two bonus pumpkins in the base game takes players to the Free Spins round, where they can smash pumpkins to reveal an endless stream of prizes, ranging from simple coin wins to symbol multipliers and extra Free Spins.
“Opening a gift to see what is inside is a popular feature in all types of games, and we have integrated this mechanic in an innovative new fashion in Pumpkin Smash,” said Yggdrasil Gaming head of slots Jonas Strandman. “The bonus is both frequent and rewarding, with the pumpkins regularly containing free spins. Combined with simple rules and a familiar concept, this is a great game for beginners.
“The slot is also visually stunning, with dazzling colours and sharp audio combining to create an engaging Day of the Dead holiday feel.”

The 5x3 video slot follows the hedgehog and his woodland friends the frog, caterpillar, snail and bumblebee, and features Habanero’s new pay-out mechanism that pays wherever the heroic character rolls.
Whenever Roger rolls over any high paying character symbol, a single acorn is awarded. Once 40 acorns are collected, free games can be triggered once 3 or more Scatter symbols appear.
The acorns then turn into free spins where A, K, Q, J and 10 can randomly turn WILD at a cost of 5 acorns, whenever Roger rolls over them. The feature only ends when all acorns are swapped for wins.
“With top quality graphics and whimsical sounds that pack a punch, Rolling Roger is one of our best to date,” said Toni Karapetrov, head of corporate communications at Habanero. “We know this top-of-the-range HTML5 development, as well as the storyline of Roger and his woodland friends, will leave players fully engaged in the hunt for acorns.”
