Stockholm-listed casino games developer NetEnt has paid out a €7.2m jackpot through its Hall of Gods game to a Scottish player on Casumo.com.

The payout marks the second big win on the mythology-themed Hall of Gods game in the last six months following a €7.5m jackpot win in June.

“It’s so pleasing for us that one of our games has hopefully made someone very happy this holiday season,” said Henrik Fagerlund, chief product officer at NetEnt.

“Hall of Gods has proven to be a favourite amongst NetEnt fans and has now claimed its second jackpot winner in the space of six months, we hope our popular jackpot games will continue to reward players with excitement and large pay-outs.”

Hall of Gods is a progressive jackpot and part of NetEnt’s jackpot network, where players come face-to-face with Norse mythology in a 5-reel triple jackpot featuring the Midgard Serpent in the expanding wild, and Odin’s ravens on the scatter symbol.

As well as Hall of Gods, NetEnt offers pooled jackpots on Mega Fortune and Arabian Nights.
