This week has seen new slots released by Booming Games, Greentube, Magnet Gaming and Pragmatic Play, as well as NZ Lotto's launch of its first online scratch card games, and integrations for Tom Horn Gaming and Zitro Interactive.
Isle of Man-based developer Booming Games is taking players down the garden path to discover a fruity slot with a twist in Exotic Fruit Deluxe.
The game is the sequel to the supplier’s popular slot and retains the gameplay of the original while adding a super charged boost. Returning to the garden under the cover of darkness, players will meet some cute Chibis and the succulent fruits that they love.
"We can't wait for our players to get their hands on our latest release," said Booming Games' CEO Max Niehusen. "Exhilarating gameplay, charming styling and innovative features make Exotic Fruit Deluxe destined to become a firm favourite amongst our players."
The slot features expanding symbols and free spins, with 3 or more of the scatter symbols triggering 10 free spins, and also allow players to randomly select the expanding symbol. If this symbol lands on three or more reels during free spins it will expand, covering the entire reel to bring players bigger wins.
Novomatic's interactive subsidiary Greentube is getting into the festive spirit with the launch of its Christmas-themed slot Jingle Jackpot.
The aim in Jingle Jackpot is to line up five identical winning symbols on one of ten win lines that run in both directions. Players win as long as enough symbols line up side by side along a win line.
If the Extra Bet feature is activated, the Star acts as the Wild symbol and substitutes all other symbols. All winnings made with the Star are multiplied with a selected multiplier (up to x10).
With the amount of the multiplier, the overall bet increases as well. The Christmas-Cracker-Bonus offers four special bonuses such as rewind, fast forward, scatter and domino, and is randomly triggered after every unsuccessful spin. All four bonuses guarantee additional winnings.
The game is a 3x5 video slot, complementing koi fish, bonsai trees and yin and yang symbols with a soothing oriental soundtrack. The game’s fifth reel is home to golden variants of every symbol, which are the key to unlocking minor, major and grand jackpots that pay up to 800x the player’s original stake.
In another innovative spin, up to 25 jackpots can be won on a game round and the jackpot feature is also available during the free spins round, where stacked lanterns appear in the spin before scattering to the wind to reveal new symbols.
"We are proud to launch Panda's Fortune, a game that is both visually charming and expertly-modelled, with intuitive mechanics offering a truly unique gameplay experience," said Catalin Bratosin, head of games production at Pragmatic Play.
"Releasing two new games a month throughout the year is one of our key commitments, and this speed to market without any sacrifices in quality is a significant string to our bow."
Tom Horn Gaming / EveryMatrix
Malta-based slots provider Tom Horn Gaming has agreed a deal to integrate its content onto the EveryMatrix platform.
The supplier's full portfolio of video slots will be made available to EveryMatrix’s network of operators via its CasinoEngine content aggregator platform, including popular titles Monster Madness, Blackbeard’s Quest and Geisha’s Fan.
"Tom Horn Gaming is always looking for opportunities to grow as a brand and this deal with EveryMatrix will really help us do that," said Ondrej Lapides, CEO at Tom Horn Gaming. "EveryMatrix hosts some of the industry’s biggest suppliers all under one roof and we are delighted to be among them. We are confident our high-quality titles will impress."
Stian Hornsletten, CEO of CasinoEngine, added: "We are always looking to add the very best slots titles on the market to our platform and we are confident we have achieved that here as well.
"Tom Horn Gaming's portfolio hosts a wealth of titles to suit all players. We look forward to working together in a long-term partnership."
Danish casino games developer Magnet Gaming is offering players a lesson in French cuisine with its new restaurant-themed slot game Le Chef.
The supplier's latest release features nine aptly-designed reels and two progressive jackpots, and sees players help Le Chef create some tasty treats in their bid to scoop Le Jackpot.
The slot offers players the chance to win on every spin with entertaining bonus rounds such as Bon Appétit, Food Critic, Kitchen Time and Pick a Dish.
"Le Chef serves up the French restaurant experience to players and if you can impress Paris's toughest food critics, there are plenty of delicious prizes to be gobbled up," said Thomas Nielsen, head of gaming licensing at Magnet Gaming.
"We are sure this game will appeal to those foodies out there, and we think they'll be chomping at the bit to get their teeth into the food-filled bonus rounds that it has to offer."
Playtech-owned Swedish slots specialist Quickspin has unveiled a new Achievements Races promotional tool, designed to offer an improved gaming experience and maximise retention opportunities for operators.
It will be available from January and complements the supplier’s Achievements Engine, which was launched earlier this year. The races will allow rewards to be achieved much quicker, giving players meaningful prizes and an even more valuable experience.
Achievements Races is set to be integrated into Quickspin’s leading games including the newly-released Mayana.
"We've received fantastic feedback from operators for our Achievements Engine, and Achievements Races represents another valuable tool within their marketing strategies," said Quickspin CEO Daniel Lindberg. "With the achievements themselves being a powerful retention tool aimed to increase loyalty of the players, the races allow for a promotional boost where a spotlight can be put on achievements during a period where the rewards are much more easily reached."
Video bingo games specialist Zitro Interactive has launched its games with Betsson's Spanish-facing online gaming brand Starcasino.es.
The operator has gone live initially with 15 games from the supplier, including popular titles Spin Bingo, Fishmania and Power Mania Bonus. Users will able to enjoy the games across desktop, mobile and tablet devices.
"In this way, Zitro Interactive continues to expand its distribution channels to make its most successful games available to all players at any place and at any time," said the company.
New Zealand's National Lottery operator Lotto NZ has expanded its online portfolio with the launch of Instant Play games.
The games are an online version of the popular and iconic Instant Kiwi games that New Zealanders have been playing for almost 30 years. They have a maximum spending limit of $50 per week.
Lotto NZ general manager of corporate communications Emilia Mazur said that Instant Play was a natural addition to the operator's current suite of games available online.
"We've been offering all of our games online for almost 10 years – except for Instant Kiwi," said Mazur. "With more people playing online and, given the popularity of Instant Kiwi in-store, Instant Play is the natural next step for MyLotto.
"We want to offer our online players our full range of games. Providing a responsible gaming environment is central to Lotto NZ's operations, across all areas of our business.
"We have a comprehensive set of safeguards to ensure the responsible delivery of Instant Play games on MyLotto," she added.
Instant Play games are available on mylotto.co.nz and the newly updated Lotto NZ App which allows players to check and buy tickets via mobile devices.
