Isle of Man-based gaming supplier Microgaming has expanded its Playboy-branded games portfolio with the release of Playboy Gold.

Playboy Gold is the latest slot based on the American men's lifestyle and entertainment magazine and follows the launch of the original Playboy online slot and the Playboy Live Dealer game five years ago.

Officially launching at London’s ICE expo next month, Playboy Gold has been developed by independent studio Triple Edge Studios, which is creating content exclusively for Microgaming and Quickfire operators.

The game is a new 6-reel slot format with a host of base game and bonus features to keep players entertained, while embracing the iconic and global brand to the fullest. The game is set to launch with operators in early March.

Microgaming games publisher David Reynolds added: “To work with Playboy again has been a real pleasure. They are one of the most recognised and popular consumer brands in the world and Triple Edge Studios has worked tirelessly to bring the brand to life in Playboy Gold.

“The game is hosted by Playmates Raquel and Audrey and delivers non-stop action. We are excited for the game’s launch and to be unveiling the title at the industry’s biggest trade show.”
