New York-listed gaming supplier Inspired Entertainment has secured an extension to its video lottery terminal (VLT) supply contract with leading Italian operator Sisal.

Inspired will continue to supply its server-based gaming (SBG) VLT platform to the operator for the next four years, including machines and games content across the Sisal estate in Italy.

As part of the agreement, Inspired will supply up to 2,024 SBG VLT terminals to Sisal and will deploy approximately six new games from its in-house studio every year.

“Sisal is a valued and long-established customer of Inspired and I’m delighted to announce that we will continue our business relationship into the future,” said Inspired president and CEO Luke Alvarez. “Our Italian VLT business is an incredibly important one, and this agreement is testament to our commitment to its ongoing development.”

Inspired has been working with Sisal since 2009 after becoming the operator’s strategic technology partner following a competitive tender process. It also provides the operator with a range of virtual sports games across retail, online and mobile channels.

Shares in Inspired Entertainment Inc (NSQ:INSE) closed in New York Wednesday down 2.08 per cent at $5.88 per share.
