This week sees new game releases from Play’n GO, Yggdrasil Gaming, Pariplay and Booming Games, as well as platform integrations for the likes of Microgaming’s Quickfire, EveryMatrix, BetConstruct, Betsoft Gaming, and Wazdan.
Swedish slots specialist Play’n GO is taking players on a journey through a candy land map in its latest release, Sweet Alchemy.
The game challenges players to connect clusters of sweet treats as they fill the 5x5 grid while completing different objectives on the way. Each winning cluster counts towards the Sugar Rush bonus meter, which drops wilds onto the grid, or the Mix-the-Elixir free round, which rushes players to an enlarged 9x9 grid where they’ll be met by the Alchemist who casts spells that shuffle symbols, add wild symbols and destroy tiles.
As with other Play’n GO titles, Sweet Alchemy features several targets which change as players progress along the map, with the chance to win a variety of prizes and multipliers, increasing as the game goes on.
“Sweet Alchemy follows our strategy of developing titles which offer thrills beyond just winning money, instead integrating levels, bonus features and differing goals to make a more extensive entertainment product," said Play'n GO chief executive Johan Törnqvist. “The simplicity and recognisable theme will be loved by all, and coupled with Play’n GO’s usual vibrant, detailed graphics, animations and soundtracks, we’re sure this will be one of our biggest hits of the year.”
With Easter approaching, casino games developer Yggdrasil Gaming is taking players to the remote Pacific Ocean for the launch of its new slot Easter Island.
The slot features expanding reels, sticky wilds and a summery soundscape, with the most exciting discovery for players being the ‘symbol swap respin’ feature, where every win will trigger a respin and the winning symbol replacing either all high or low paying symbols on the reels.
Easter Island explorers are also warmly welcomed by two towering, vibrantly animated Moai statues that cheer players on and also help out when they can by growing up to four rows taller when landing more than four symbols on a win line.
“Easter Island is the perfect pep up for those with an adventurous spirit,” said Yggdrasil Gaming head of slots Jonas Strandman. “Players will be treated to exciting winning combinations as they trigger the novel ‘symbol swap respin’ and take advantage of the expanding reels.
“With the big wins on offer, those who make the trip won’t be in a hurry to return to the mainland anytime soon.”
To further celebrate Easter, Yggdrasil is also launching a new Missions network campaign on March 29th with a €60,000 prize pool. The player who finishes at the top of the leaderboard will win a trip for two to Chile and Easter Island to see the Moai first-hand, as well as visiting the Atacama Desert. Alongside Easter Island, the campaign will also include titles Vikings go Berzerk and recent release Gem Rocks.
