Italy’s AAMS Steps In to Save Horseracing

During 2009 Italian horseracing continued its inexorable decline, according to figures revealed by the authorities on 19th January, but the publication of the data also coincided with a presentation by gaming body AAMS, now due to take a more active role in managing the crisis-hit product, with the Head of Betting announcing major changes over the next year.
