Australian sports back calls to criminalise match-fixing

Australia’s Coalition of Major Professional and Participation Sports (COMPPS), which comprises the major national sporting associations in Australia, are backing a federal government proposal for corruption in sport to become an offence punishable by jail, in order to stamp out betting related match-fixing.
