The Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission has unanimously approved new regulations to allow state residents to take part in advance deposit wagering on horse races via the internet or telephone from January 2012.
Members of the commission voted 5-0 to approve emergency rules that will allow Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino to launch advance deposit wagering (ADW) operations following the approval of new gambling legislation by state lawmakers earlier this year.
