The Australian state of Victoria has appointed Bruce Thompson as chairman of the Victorian Commission for Gaming and Liquor Regulation (VCGLR).
Thompson served as chair of the VCGLR’s predecessor, the Victorian Commission for Gambling Regulation from 2009 to 2012, before it was merged with the state’s regulatory authority for liquor in February last year in a bid to streamline the regulation of each sector.
