Mississippi introduces online gaming legislation

The US State of Mississippi has introduced legislation to regulate online gambling which includes both poker and casino games.

Introduced by House Minority Leader Bobby Moak, HB1373 would create a licensing system to authorise Internet Wagering Permit holders to offer gambling games online to state residents over the age of 21. An initial Internet Wagering Permit will cost at least $200,000 with an annual renewal fee of at least $100,000.
